I was born and raised in Italy by Ghanaian parents, I moved to Finland in 2016 to embark on a new chapter of my life and challenge myself in a new way. With a deep passion for photography and videography, I initially lacked the funds to pursue this interest. However, by changing my mindset and focusing on my goals, I have since been able to immerse myself in the world of visual storytelling.

As a Cinematographer, screenwriter, and Director of Filmmaking / Docufilmmaking, I am dedicated to changing the narrative through storytelling, focusing on social issues that are often overlooked and need to be highlighted. I graduated from the Academy of Moving People and Image (AMPI) in November 2022, where I released my first official short movie, "The Road Not Taken," which I wrote and directed. This film premiered in one of Helsinki's cinemas and marked the beginning of my journey in the film industry.

Since the beginning of 2020, I have been directing and collaborating with other videographers and filmmakers on various short movies and music videos. Starting in 2021, I expanded my creative horizons by working with dancers of immigrant backgrounds to build and perform theatrical shows. These collaborations have led to partnerships with several prominent theatres in the metropolitan area, including Alexanderiteatteri and Tanssitalo, among others.

One of my most significant projects to date has been with Yle, on a project produced by Banijay Finland about Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). This project allowed me to shed light on a critical issue and contribute to the ongoing conversation surrounding it.

Through my work, I aim to tell stories that resonate, inspire, and provoke thought, bringing attention to the experiences and voices that deserve to be heard.
